Grand Hôtel des Bains : a history of stylish accommodation
The hotel was built at the beginning of the 20th century, and its beautiful grounds and private beach were the setting of the famous French comedy: "L’Hotel de la Plage". Dominique van Lier, the current owner introduced the classic New England décor which has been featured in a number of French style magazines.
The view of the sea from the bedrooms, restaurant and the hotel park constantly changes with the tide, light, weather and seasons, but is always enchanting. The spacious terrace is a perfect place to watch the boats exploring Locquirec bay. At high tide the sea laps the lime tree alley in the garden, and at low tide the rocks appear and it is possible to cross the bay by foot.
Rooms with a view
The hotel's bedrooms all have private bathrooms and plasma televisions, and most have a mesmerising sea view. All the sea view first floor rooms have large terraces and the sea view second floor rooms have balconies. The hotel has wi-fi access throughout, including in the bedrooms and garden.
All our bedrooms are non-smoking.
